(Updated July 22, 2023) I am actively hiring graduate (MEng, MSc and PhD) students for 2023.09 and 2024.01. Multiple Research/Teaching Assistant positions are available for excellent students. Students who have secured funding, or are prepared to apply for external scholarships (such as CSC scholarships or NSERC PGS), are strongly encouraged to apply. Self-starter and motivator with the mind-set of focusing on deliverables and getting the job done in time.

Demonstrated ability to conduct research independently or in a team

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills appropriate for interacting with students, staff and industry.

Excellent skills in programming is required.

Experience in paper writing and publishing is an asset.

Experience in machine/deep learning algorithms is an asset.

Experience in computer vision algorithms is an asset.
In addition to the abovementioned qualifications, the students who apply for MSc and PhD programs are required to meet the minimum requirements (GPA, English requirements, etc.) set by the University of Alberta as well.
